Project summary
The existing house already shows three occupied levels from the rear: lower level, main floor, and second-story bedrooms. The attic above them becomes the fourth-floor office — not a third-floor room, and not a new fifth floor.
The enclosed office is 50 feet wide by 18 feet deep and must remain one completely open room with no interior walls. The rear slope of the attic roof is opened and replaced with a symmetrical glass enclosure integrated into the existing roof profile, with a 50 by 10 foot glass-railed balcony beyond it.
Inside: a large executive desk, luxury lounge seating, floor-to-ceiling glass, panoramic views, and a motorized 100 by 72 inch projection screen that retracts into the ceiling and is controlled from the desk.
Your photographs and attic walkthrough videos are the highest-priority references and override generated imagery whenever the two disagree.
